Jenna's Delusion Fan Page

Update 02-05-04 :
I received a press release from Delusion last month. Their long-awaited cd has finally been released on Ravenhurst Records. I am not sure why they are no longer with Siegen Records ? I bought the cd last week and am waiting for it to get here. I will post a review once it arrives !

About This Site :
This is my personal fan page for the power metal band Delusion. I first discovered the band from my brother who writes for a music magazine here in Texas. They received Delusion's sampler cassette in 1996 and my brother wrote the review. I had went to visit one weekend and he was playing the tape when I got there. Once in a while there is a band whose music just moves me and when I heard Delusion there was just something about their music that affected me. The two songs on that Delusion sampler were demos for an album called The Tragedy of Regret that the band was writing. The recordings were not the greatest , but good for demo versions of these songs. The keys were a bit too loud I thought ? "Beyond The Door" , is a very passionate song that is full of emotion. I love the first line that says " Far away in a place I know. Everyday I've gone but truly've never been. " Ahhhh , I know that place too ! What sold me for good on Delusion was there 1999 remake of Iron Maiden's "22 Acacia Avenue" , featured on Children of the Damned : A Tribute To Iron Maiden. I am a long-time Iron Maiden fan and was captivated by the haunting resemblance of singer Walt Downey's voice to Bruce Dickinson's. Delusion does a great job transforming themselves into the sound of Iron Maiden. Still I wait to hear their album The Tragedy of Regret which has still not been released. I thought maybe the band wasn't going to release it , but it turns out they are just taking their sweet ole time in the studio. Don't take too long guys !
